Multiplying awareness of ecoli for the NHS

Bye Bye Ecoli

Challenge

NHS needed striking communications to help prevent ecoli infections, educating people about the risks, symptoms and prevention of outbreaks through person-to-person transmission.

The bacteria can spread when an infected person doesn’t wash their hands after having a bowel movement – with better education, we break the chain and the infection isn’t spread.

Solution

Our audience were primarily older people and those that care for them, with Ecoli infections peaking at ages 63-84. But we were also targeting messaging at the general public.

The video would be seen in GP practices, and viewed by all walks of life who can help stop infection.

We crafted a short, striking, illustrated video that educates our target audiences, using experts talking to camera to help explain what ecoli is and what risks it creates for those that contract it.
